Workplace accidents and emergencies are unpredictable, presenting serious risks to health and wellbeing of everyone at work or in general everyday life. The timely and competent delivery of basic emergency first aid can positively impact and improve injury and ill health outcomes and even save someone’s life. The Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993 and the Department of Labour mandates that employers must ensure a safe working environment by having suitably and adequately trained first aid personnel and the correct first aid resources available.
Absolute Health Services provides training in the Basic Emergency First Aid Responder course to meet these health and safety and emergency preparedness legal requirements. Upon completing this course, participants will acquire essential these basic first skills and knowledge, enabling them to provide effective basic first aid treatment and skills during emergency situations.
