Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Managers, Supervisors and Representatives are required to assist the company in implementing and maintaining OHS systems and requirements in the workplace, to ensure the health and safety of all employees, as well as ensuring compliance with the OHS Act 85 of 1993. Ensure that your Health & Safety team receives the best training to assist them in implementing their OHS task successfully!
Health and Safety training is a legal requirement according to the Occupational Health & Safety Act. When a company employs more than 20 employees it has a legal obligation to train 1 in every 50 employees as a OHS Representative. Once the workforce gets larger than 50 employees a Health & Safety Committee has to be established and further training would be required, such as OHS Supervisor or OHS Specialist training.
